Stir-fried sambal okra (lady finger)

With my stash of no-cook homemade sambal belacan in the fridge, this is an under 15-minute stir-fry that is sure to please okra (aka lady finger or lady’s fingers) and sambal chilli lovers. I totally love this simple version of spicy okra where I only used sambal belacan and garlic. You can tweak this recipe by adding shallots or dried shrimps for a more “hae bee hiam” (dried shrimp chilli paste) taste which is equally delicious. But this simple version satisfies my tummy and enable a tasty and spicy dish on the dinner table in almost no time at all.
